As the former assistant to the creative director of the Konzerthaus Berlin and the interim director of Davos Festival, Hiromi Gut, founder and artistic director of guerillaclassics, is intimately familiar with the running of cultural institutions. Her experiences in these positions and her studies in economics and singing inform her decision to bring guerillaclassics to life. Since the project’s inception, Hiromi Gut has continuously expanded the pool of artists with a range of exciting musicians and performers.
Sandra Smolcic is responsible for curating the public presence of guerillaclassics. She holds a degree in Art History and Roman Philology and has been working in the cultural field since she was a teenager. In addition to her work at guerillaclassics, she is also responsible for administration and communication at the Museé Visionnaire. Sandra supervises both the website and social media channels and takes on the project management of concerts. She is a member of the feminist collective F96 and is involved with the farmer's market Brupbimärt.
Samuel Marti is passionately interested in the interfaces between art and everyday life, real places and imagination, music and nature. As a secondary school teacher, passionate musician and cultural mediator, he brings a broad range of experience and organisational talent to coordinating the artistic operations of guerillaclassics. In addition, he is involved in regional cultural projects and likes to connect people with different backgrounds.
Jakob Blumer is a violinist by training and studied business administration. Thanks to his stoic calm and extensive experience with projects in the independent scene, as head of the artistic operations office he steers the ship through the high waves of the music business - without getting shipwrecked between bureaucracy, permits and sensitivities. In addition, he looks after talented musicians with his artist agency.
